JUST WONDERING 2025
While the exact numbers are uncertain, we know that there are more chairs in this world than people. Chairs and sitting have an enduring cultural significance and have always shaped our physical and social existence.
What I believe makes a chair interesting is its symbolic depth and history: sitting has been associated with power, wealth and social status. These objects resemble an archetype of a chair: four legs and a backrest - but with a closer look something seems to be off.

I do not think we need any more chairs. I think we need something else. This is not a chair but a good gesture: I am offering you a seat to express an act of kindness.
